“Up” House

We went out with my neighbor today to see the “Up” house in Herriman, Utah.

I took a lot of pictures…for those of you who won’t get to go tour it!

First we have the mailbox with Carl & Ellie’s handprints…

Right inside the front door is the hall tree with Carl’s hats hanging on it (and an excited Douglas in front!)

Turn through the entry to the right into the front room with Carl and Ellie’s chairs.. along with Carl’s tennis ball footed cane!

On the wall to the left is the fireplace with the Up house on a cliff painting.. (and my neighbor who refuses to pose for pictures… ha ha gotcha!)

Then down the hall to the kitchen.. the coolest room in the house!

Love the blue appliances!

And the builders/designers even managed to tuck a microwave under the island.

In the basement is a boys room… Drew wanted to go in to play with the toys, once he understood he couldn’t he just stood and stared for awhile. I think he liked it.

Next door is a girls princess room. Cute, but I think you’d have to have daughters to appreciate it!

Heading up the stair to the second floor are framed pictures of Carl and Ellie’s lives together.

The first bedroom upstairs is the nursery they were never able to use..

Then down the hall is the master bedroom. Love the bedding!

In one corner Carl’s ties…

and the master bath.. don’t know if this tub was in the movie, but WOW. Who wouldn’t LOVE this tub?

An award the house was given…

And the back yard.. love the pergola..

And a nice and bright detached garage.

The South East corner of the house..

And the North East corner. I haven’t seen this angle anywhere, so I thought I’d include it.

All in all, a fun trip! If you live anywhere nearby you should go check it out!

BTW.. if you’re heading out there, from Bangerter Highway turn West on 12600 S, turn left (South) at Herrriman Main Street. It will curve West again, turn left (South) at 5400 W. Head straight down the street and you’ll see it on the right (West) side of the street!
